So what will this blog be including in the coming posts and what can you expect to learn over the coming posts?
--------------------------
Are you hoping to be the next biggest Producer, DJ, Sound Engineer or Performing Artists? Maybe you are a student studying Music Production or other related subjects and are looking for information on your chosen profession?
For Example:-
You are new to the business and are looking for some good information from people who are willing to give up their knowledge to teach you what they know and how to get to the top. There is a lot of information out there and many people like you can get lost in the search engines trying to find the exact piece of information they need.
This is the one stop shop, where anybody can check in and find plenty of information to get you started.
If you are a Student studying Music Production, you may have an assignment which requires you to learn about a certain piece of equipment or effect or maybe even some technical terms you are unsure of. If this is you, then you have come to right place!!!
Here you will find plenty of study material for all your Music related courses and projects.
Maybe you are looking for reviews on gear that you interested in and thinking of buying in the near future, you have read the articles about it in the magazines, you have read the official website and have read the specification and requirements! Now you can get up to date reviews on all types of hardware and software titles. The reviews here will be from ‘real’ users who use the products on a day to day basis and can give honest opinions of the product in question, even if it is a bad thing.
I am sure this has happened to everyone with at least one thing that you have bought on the internet (or maybe from a shop on the high street), then one day whilst using the product you have then found that something didn’t work as well as you had expected it to or found something is not fully compatible with another product you had intended to use it with.
For example:-
You have bought your new Audio Interface, you read all the reviews in the magazines and a colleague or friend of yours had the same interface themselves, so you had even had the chance to see it working. Afterchecking the system requirements on the website, you decide to go ahead and buy the software. So it arrives, you set it up and realise that although everything sets up ok, you are hearing crackles and drops in the audio. After checking for days on numerous forums and blogs, you finally get a reply from another user who is using the same interface with the same computer as you. It turns out that the chipset in your system isn't performing well enough to operate or send enough power the USB interface in the correct manner.
You are now left with an Audio Interface that will not work properly with the Computer system that you have already. This would result in having to sell the Interface on an auction site or such like. Either that, or changing the innards of your PC tower, which could be complicated if you aren’t that way inclined and can be very expensive to have someone do it for you.
------------------------------
Over the coming posts will be reviews and information on new Software, Hardware, Samples and anything else that we think you should know about in the ever changing, ever growing world of music production.
We hope to be able to provide the reader with this knowledge on a monthly basis with weekly updates to posts already posted, sometime even a few times a week depending on how much information we have to tell you and how many products we have reviewed.
Once again, I hope you all find everything that you find on this website as informative as we thought it was when we decided it was worth to type it for you all to see.
